I Am A BrowniePosted by bee's knees (Singapore, Singapore) on 26 January 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio. I love Brownies. In fact, I'm into all-things chocolate and brownies are on top of the list. This is a macadamia nut brownie - nutty and chocolatey sweet, just how I like it. To make this really sinful stuff, you'll need macadamia nuts (but of course), a cup of flour, 3/4tsp baking powder, 1/4tsp salt, 1/2 stick of butter, 1/2 cup of sugar, 2tbsp water, a nice chocolate bar, 2 eggs & a tsp of vanilla extract. First of all, preheat the oven to about 165 degrees C, & chop up the nuts & chocolate. Combine the flour, baking powder & salt. In a saucepan over low heat, stir in the butter, sugar & water. When butter melts, pour in half the chocolate & stir till it melts. Next, beat in the eggs & vanilla extract and stir in the flour mixture. Pour in the nuts & remaining chocolate. Spread mixture on a baking pan & bake for about half an hour. Cool before cutting, and enjoy the brownie with a huge scoop of vanilla ice-cream. Heaven!
