Typical Local BreakfastPosted by bee's knees (Singapore, Singapore) on 4 February 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio. This was what I had for brekkie today...good ol' yummy Chee Cheong Fun. Chee Cheong Fun's made of rice flour and water, and basically, this mixture is poured into a special flat pan and then steamed to make rice sheets. Then with a condiment of sweet soy sauce, hoi sin sauce and sesame oil (and a bit of chili by the side), plus a generous topping of sesame seeds, you'll get a plate of scrumptious Chee Cheong Fun. By the way, the best Chee Cheong Fun I've ever eaten is at a stall at Tiong Bahru Market.
