I love buffalo wings. I tasted my first buffalo wings at TGI Friday's way back in 1992 and I fell madly in love with them. I've also tasted pretty good buffalo wings at Buckaroo BBQ & Grill, Jerry's BBQ & Grill, Brewerkz, Sunset Bar & Grill and North Border. Today, I decided to whip up some good old buffalo wings right in my kitchen and it turned out pretty decent. Here's the recipe for all you die-hard buffalo wings fans!
BAKED BUFFALO WINGS - serves 4 1/4 cup oil 3 garlic cloves, minced 1/4tsp cayenne pepper 1tsp salt 1/4tsp pepper 16pcs chicken wings 1/4 cup ketchup 3tbsps red wine vinegar 1tbsp hot pepper sauce
Preheat oven 240C. Mix oil, garlic, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Toss chicken wings to the oil mixture and coat well. Bake wings for 15mins, flip the wings and bake another 10mins. Whisk ketchup, red wine vinegar and hot pepper sauce together and pour ketchup mixture over wings and coat well. Enjoy!
I just had my breakfast.. and seeing this picture makes me hungry again :)
