Life Is So FragilePosted by bee's knees (Singapore, Singapore) on 9 September 2007 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio. Life is so fragile. My brother's father-in-law passed away suddenly early yesterday morning. On Saturday night, he was still alright, staying up past 11pm to watch a Chinese movie on TV. Then all of a sudden, he had trouble breathing, started coughing out lots of blood and was rushed to the hospital. At around 3:30am, the doctor told the family members that he won't live more than 24 hours as his lungs had collapsed. True enough, he passed away at around 7am in the morning - he was literally drowned in his own blood. We were in shocked when we received the bad news. Isn't life fragile and the world seemed to have crumbled within those hours. One moment he was watching telly, the next moment he's rushed to the hospital and then his life came to an end. Life is short. Cherish your loved ones while they're still by your side. Because when they're gone, you would hope that you could have all the time with them. We never know which hug will be the last hug, which I-love-you would be the last, which good-bye will be the last good-bye. Tell your loved ones that you love them so you won't regret that you didn't. Don't let conflicts stay any longer - apologize, forgive and forget. Mend that broken relationship and don't neglect your loved ones just because "I've been really, really busy". Make each day count.
