Chocolate Chip Raisin Oatmeal CookiesPosted by bee's knees (Singapore, Singapore) on 16 December 2007 in Food & Cuisine and Portfolio. I love cookies and I love baking them as I love the smell of cookies in the house. I made these really chewy chocolate chip raisin oatmeal cookies to bring to the patients at the hospice. Here's the recipe for the chocolatey-raisiny-oatmealy cookies... 1 tsp baking soda Preheat oven 180 degrees C. Cream butter and sugar together, then add egg. Combine the baking soda, flour and salt, then mix with creamed mixture. Add oatmeal, raising and chocolate chips, and mix them well. Drop a teaspoon of mixture on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes. These freshly home-baked cookies can last for a few days in an air-tight container.
